Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v1.5B3
The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Office 97, and Office XP. This version is a quick update to make it work with Windows Server 2003.
Version 1.5 Beta 3 changes so far:
Added support for Microsoft Office 2003 (hopefully) according to information I've received from users. I'm not very happy with my programming and the way I'm pulling the Office keys, and it may result in a rewrite of this portion of the software. Let me know if you guys experience any problems.
Redesigned the way the Keyfinder is identifying Office XP (and hopefully Office 2003) installations. I'm pulling it from the uninstallation part of the registry now which should identify ANY Office XP installation

After you've obtained it, I just made a .BAT to muck up WPA so a user has to reregister. Download it below. (I'll update my website with this app later on).
Also, if anyone know what reverse hash I have to run on the "ProductId" reg key in windows to get the original CD-key I'd appreciate any info you could give me. What I'd like to see is an application that does the same thing this one does, but runs from the commandline and doesn't output to a GUI. I'm willing to make it, but I need to know what hash is used to create the Product Key or what method these key retrieving programs use to get it. Thanks.
