i have started to work on how bufferoverflow works, and when i sarted hands on ....irealized that i get a segmetation fault but.....it does not ( CORE DUMP ) . Can any one of you throw some light......

I expected atleast ONE reply.....but any wayz....i have found how to do it..
the command goes like this
"ulimit -c unlimited"
but this command stays alive untill the terminal is alive
and iam very happy that iam a bit wiser today by .... succesfully writing the first BOF ... with some help though... I would like to write my own ones very soon.....
