I know that there is alot of information on this site about the rpc dcom exploit but im having some troubles with getting it to work.

I am using RPC DCOM exploit coded by [oc192.us] but i cannot get it to exploit keeps saying " Could not connect to bindshell port 666 possable reasons - host is firewalled or exploit failed"

I have tried on many many ip's. I am using anrgy ip scanner to find open ports and Retina to find vaunrabilities.

Could someone please help on this topic and/or post the RIGHT tools for MS03-039. And i am also not having luck with Netcat to connect but i guess this is because my dcom exploit is failling.

How do you tell if a host is firewalled or not, or is it a hit and miss situation.

I have seached google and found a few dcom exe's and tutorials but i still get the same error. I am also running win 98 does this matter?

[FONT=Optima]Chances are most people have a patch for the DCOM exploit, your a couple months late...Also when using this exploit you need to make sure they have two ports open 5000 and I belive 139, cant remember. Good luck.

Also most smart isp's have blocked the rpc port so its pretty much useless unless your lucky enough to find crappy isp's that do not block that port. Try scanning other countries maybe their not up to date... but who knows.
