Don't get me wrong google is a very good search engine. But i think you
guys should also take a look at www.alltheweb.com it has more search options
than google does so you can narrow down your searches even more.
Or i can be totally wrong. I don't know

Personally I think your completely wrong because:
1) Google has Language tools, Translations of copy and paste as wlel as sites that come up in the search engine.
2) Google Has file Type options... Can convert PDF to HTML (good for copying and pasting)
3) Google has the google cache (Great for broken Links)
4) Googles Spider that scans the pages is much more efficient than alot of other search engines.
All the web returned:
1 - 10 of 16,837 Results for test.pdf
While google returned:
Searched the web for test.pdf. Results 1 - 10 of about 31,900. Search took 0.14 seconds.
(A 180% difference in number of results)
There are loads more features that are behind google that you may not know about.
Just my .02$.
But However I am very interested in why you think all the web is a better search engine...
And like always the term "Different strokes for Different Folks" comes into play here.

I use a program called Copernic, I suggest you take a look at it, you will never need anything else if you are actually searching for something in detail.
