Here is a lil' code i threw together (with the help of CodeGuru.com

)
Basically Netstat Frontend (using win32 API) bundled with a TCP/UDP Connect Scanner.
Tell me what ya think?

Nice Stuff Coder,this is a very usefull tool. Its a keeper and will be added to the toolbox for shure. Thanks for your time and effort putting this Fine tool together for the rest of to try out and to use. I have to say this is the best netstat tool i seen or used also.

Thanks for the tool...much better than the dos based netstat. There is only one feature that would be usefull to have if u can implament it. Have the netstat refresh itself every X seconds so that you can view u're systems connections in realtime.

Wow...that was very fast coding. Thanks for this feature, it makes it very easy to monitor connections as they're happening.

you might want to get a firewall, all firewalls will do this (at the least) and not only can you see what applications are connected, you can also block/allow the connection to those specific applications...
I like Sygates free firewall (for win2k)
I use IPTABLES under linux (using KWall IPTABLES rule builder, makes things much easier)...
