yup Rainbow works nice, but it can't crack alpha-numeric passwords with me, not even with a "little test user" i've made Test / blabla11
maybe i need to make more tables for alpha numeric? anyone knows something about it, or recommend another cracker? thanks in advance!

*puh* ive generated over 10 days these rainbow tables and sorted them ...
but now i have i question ...
i want to "check" my winpw ....
So, do i have to dump my sam file with pwdump?

"rcrack c:\rainbowcrack-1.0-win\*.rt -f random_alpha.txt"
This i found in the readme.txt.
What do i have to put in the "random_alpha.txt" ? The hashes from the sam ...
How do i extract the hashes of the sam?

I dont know if this is really a beginners question, but since there is a tutorial and iam not understanding it, i think it is the right section.

Use pwdump3... which version have you generated the chains for? I did it for the 1.0 and like 5 days later 1.1 came out i believe. so i got alpha numerical and i don't have the time right now to dedicate another computer to generating chains again... gonna have to wait till i get my 2.0ghz back

yeah... you have to creat alpha-numeric tables.... read the read me :-D
