i have played a bit with my computer an now is there a directory
"c:\ test " <--- space before and after test
i am not able to delete nor to access it, its emtpy thats why i only want to delete it...
rename dosnt work
could someone help me?
the same on my linux server i made a directory "˙˙˙˙test˙˙˙˙" it appears exact like the one i wrote (note like on some pubs, where some ˙ disappears.
how to delete it?
there is also no way to change into that dir...

please help!

In the directory above the file/directory you are trying to delete, type dir /x
On the column that has ~1, find the directory, and delete it by using the ~1 file name.

Grinnler, had the same problem with a dir and i was stuck with it for sometime now, and after i saw this post, tried it and work. Great suggestion. Thanks.

there is a dos command
cacls
just type cacls/? and choose your options!
