i have played a bit with my computer an now is there a directory

"c:\ test " <--- space before and after test

i am not able to delete nor to access it, its emtpy thats why i only want to delete it...
rename dosnt work

could someone help me?


the same on my linux server i made a directory "ÿÿÿÿtestÿÿÿÿ" it appears exact like the one i wrote (note like on some pubs, where some ÿ disappears.
how to delete it?
there is also no way to change into that dir...

In the directory above the file/directory you are trying to delete, type dir /x

On the column that has ~1, find the directory, and delete it by using the ~1 file name.

cacls


just type cacls/? and choose your options!

it's possible thats are an ascii character ?
