Do A Search On Google And See What You Can Find.
If I Find The Url Link I Will Post It

I didn't want to start a separate thread for this. I downloaded Dev C++. When I see code listed like this:

is there a way using Dev C++ or another compilier to make a Win32 prog with a GUI or is that all dependent on the code that was written?

OMG somebody shoot me please .... if one more person asks for a compiler i swear i will ram my fist up their (filtered) Ass.

ok maybe i was a little harsh at least they asked for a compiler and nopt for the code to be compiled, if u cant compile the code dont use it (try to include the language it was written in when u ask for compiler)

I really wouldn't knock people that are trying to learn. As you mentioned, at least it wasn't asked that the code be complied. Everyone has to learn from some starting point.

Well..this is an lcc-win question....

I am trying to link the cygwin to it....but am having the damndest time. Can anyone advise how to link it so I can get it to compile some C.

Not as easy as using Visual Studio C++ to compile...guess I'll have to work on my Linux box....

I'm rather new at this forum and I already tried to compile some stuff (mostly exploits in c) with dev-c++ 4.9.8
But it never works, it always give me errors.
What do I do wrong? Or is it just because of some libraries I don't have? Or includes? And if yes, where do I get these??

Sorry if these questions bore you, but I'm a n00b at compiling.
I just started out programming and I can comile simple programs, but the exploits still remain a problem...

Somebody can help me?

@ all , cause he is a german dude , i answer him in german . The question what he ask is answered 100000 times here in the forum . So i hope it is ok when i don't post the english translation .

Oki also moin erstmal .
Exploits können mit verschiedenen Sprachen geschrieben werden . Gängig ist Perl , C++ , C . Bei Perlexploits kannst du meistens den Perlinterpreter von www.perl.com nehmen . Bei c++ und c exploits kommt es auf die libary an . Hast du zb. ein Exploit das Libarys von Linux benutzt die Windows nicht hat ( in den meisten fällen ) musst du dir diese entweder besorgen , oder Linux verwenden bzw emulieren .

Zum emulieren kannst du Cygwin nehmen . Pass hier aber auf das du den gcc auch als paket runterlädst .

Oder du emulierst gleich ein ganzes System . Das kann man mit Vmware ( glaaaaaub ich musst du aber mal googlen , mir fällt der name nimmer ein ) .
Da installierst du Linux auf eine virtuelle Festplatte , ist aber schwer zu configen .

Oder du installierst linux , was ich empfehlen würde . Oder du bekommst von einem freund zugriff auf eine shell wo du compilen darfst .

Compilen tust du generell so : gcc -o file.c filename und ausführen tust dus mit ./filename .

Musst du aber auch mal in die Beschreibung reinschauen .
Linux was ich dir empfehle und wo man super compilen mit kann : Collegelinux

Sorry, but I can't speak german (I speak dutch btw) and I asked for compiling with dev-cpp under windows not with linux...
But I'll just have to try out linux...
