Did you check the Microsoft knowledge base? Google?

If you did do a search on this, please say so. Otherwise....

Hey guys, I have a question related to this. If you want to disable NET SEND command, I know you can disable the messenger service, but how do you keep someone from re-enabling the service?... Anybody could help me?

Depends which OS.

In XP/2000 you could deny any user (except yourself) to interfere with services.

A nifty solution for 98/95/ME (and I suppose XP and 2k) would be to create a batch file that stops the messenger service, and then have it run every, say, 3 minutes by 'scheduler'.

There are most probably easier ways of achieving this same result... but I can't think of any right now.

If you want to play with fire, hack the service out of the registry.
