here is a problem. I dont use kazaa i use kazaa lite. and i dont like the spyware/adware on my computer...
The new problem is that kazaa wants me to download its latest version. But i dont want to download kazaa because of the adware but i want to still use the program. DOes kazaa lite have the same security issues?
what should i do?
there is a secuirty problem i know but want to know the best course of action?

Yep I use Kazaa lite also, and yes it has the same security issues. Kazaa lite is just a stripped version of Kazaa.

Use Lavasoft Ad-Aware to scan your pc for spyware. Also you'll see that kazaa lite still contains spyware.

Better yet, skip the spyware that KAZAA adds to your system (and by the way the KAZAA exe also includes spyware within it) and skip KAZAA entirely and instead use Freenet!

Freenet, encrypts traffic flowing through it and anonymizes the source destination of all traffic. So, avoid RIAA, avoid spyware, and avoid whatever else your paranoid little brain can come up with and use Freenet.
