Once I was speaking to some guy over MSN, and I sent him file just to get his IP.. During tranfer I Fired my netstat, to check his IP, and the guy says, "why are you netstating me?".. On my suprise, I couldn't even get IP, even file was still transfering and direct connection was established..
But the real question is: How do I protect myself like this if someone is nestat probing me?

this is all bullshit. No one can tell if you are using netstat to find their ip, unless the person has control over your pc. And there is NO way of protecting yourself agains netstat probes, without a proxy. As long as you are connected to the remote host the remote host will know your ip and you will know the remote host's ip. This basic IP. mad.gif

oh yes there is , just replace netstat with a self compiled one
