Well, if are wanting to hide the IP that is pinging it, That means you are probaly just ping attacking someone, in that case you don't need to use that to check that IP your pinging, just another ping program to ping it a couple times to see if it still up.

"Pinger" will ping a target from any address that you specify yourself. Although being a rather tame tool, what it does do, is provide an extra layer of anonymity for when "really big and exciting" hosts are being investigated and revealing your own IP is not advisable.

"Pinger" will also resolve any hostnames into IPs for your own ease.
Thus,
">pinger www.google.com www.yahoo.com 10", would send 10 pings to Yahoo.com whilst appearing to come from Google.com
Simple stuff, but it has it's uses.

But if you dont give ur real ip, the return ICMP packet wont get to your pc, whats the point of pinging than?

btw is there any pinger with which u could setup how "high" can it ping at once.. cuz when u type here the command its starting to ping with full piwer..
btw u could compare this tool also with the dd@s..
