What has a scanstro with security for a network to do? Why dont you scan your ip block what you own from your own server or sys?

could be that most isp's block several ports like 135 and 139 but hey it might just be me smile.gif

hmm kill boths scanners and try again
most time it will work

The Port Is Kind Of Dead , Try 445 or 3389 or 135
jawn
so port 3389
is a regular NT scan port?

I've only been using port 139 and 445
139 is mostly closed by a various amount of ISPs
and 445 is the most commonly known open port for SMB scanning.

what is 3389?
is it as resourceful as 445 or how 139 use to be?
mcq
Port 3389 is used by Terminal Service

Is this board turning into an FXP board?  ph34r.gif

LoL and yes 3389 works fine for NT

no it's not, And this is probably one of the last "stro" thread, while it has some basis of a real conversation, I'll leave it altho it's getting to be quite "hurting".

Could be they put in firewalls that block outbound access to port 139, or the isp's your scanning are filtering out 139.

If you are not receing one hit on 139, sounds like they are filtering outbound port 139 access. If they are filtering outbound 139, there may be a way around that by using a "legitimate" source port.

On the other hand if its the ISP, and alot of them are blocking 139 now as they should, alot of them are leaving 445 wide open.

Go figure.
