It's a socks proxy that can be run via the console and does not open any windows. With this one you can select the port and set username/password too

Is this the kind of program that is used by IRC users to keep the user "online" so they can retrieve the messages and stuff that's typed when their workstation is offline?

for that questionasked by triqster , the psybnc is the one which is designed to stay online , but the bouncers only hide ur ip , and bouncers are : proxy,socks4/5,portredirect,bnc , and bnc is different from psybnc ..u can get the windows versions from tuttoirc.net so if u get a cmd shell u can use them

does it autostart on windows startup ? what is the deamon argument does ? it works perfectly as if it was a real proxy much much appreciation for the author of this neccesery program. i saw many else but this one is stable like an amsterdam whore
