uhmm...the traditional method is to first create the accounts in the servudaemon.ini file and then start servu. U can't create accounts unless u have a system admin account created. Then u could use servu remote admin to create other accounts.
BTW...how did u manage to start serv-u in media in the first place?

either of these methods if the first one dont work try the next and it is through dos which i am guessing u know that
servudaemon.exe
servudaemon.exe /s /h /i
start servudaemon.exe
and my servu is created for admin accounts but it wont let me add users

I'm sure you already tried this, but,......set up a basic 1 user server on your home box. Set up your Admin acct, then kill it. Use that .ini for your remote server. Then Administor it thru the ServuAdmin proggy.
I remember a year or so back i had one that i couldn't change anything,....it ended up being an attrib problem that i had created myself, hehe...

I also have this on a regulare base
Sometimes when you use ftp ot tftp to upload files on a target system the files are read only!
The thing you have to do is use the attrib command on the target system and remove the "read only" servudaemon.ini or whatever the names is
in flashfxp "site exec attrib -r servudaemon.ini" DO THIS ON THE ATTRIB.EXE

Yes indeed... you can't create or modify services 'cause you prolly don't have admin rights to do this. First you need to use some local exploit to gain admin privileges.
as for these switches for serv-u kidrockers71 is talking about... hehehe i want to see you trying to start servudaemon.exe with /s switch

)
Here's some description for them:
-h runs hidden servudaemon once
-i installs servudaemon as a service
-s stops servudaemon
