I have a problem in securing AIX 5.2 server. The problem is that when i say netstat -af inet it gives me that *.32768 service is open. So i tried to check it out which is that service running it shows that its a related to statd i.e an NFS service to start NFS.
Whereas in my scripts i have disabled NFS. Infact i have renamed rc.nfs.
But when i do a network scan using the scanners it does not give me that port open. The scanner result shows ICMP(filtered) port open i.e port no. 7
So could you help me analysing this weird problem
