i connect to a host i scanned for port 4444 with the command
nc.exe -vvv ip 4444
and i get this error
Warning: forward host lookup failed for [[[hostname]]]: h_errno 11001: H
OST_NOT_FOUND
[[[hostname]]] [[[[ip]]]] 4444 (?) open
sent 0, rcvd 0: NOTSOCK

am i using the wrong command or what tried everything

try it without the -vvv

i had one or two problems using verbose mode seems to work at times without -vvv

also try -v -vv
