Since there are now over a hundred files uploaded, what is the simplest way to prevent duplicate files from being uploaded that have slightly different names or descriptions? Even a local txt search won't pick it up unless its an exact match.

I just don't want to start on the wrong foot and dupe what may already be there but isn't picked up on a standard search and even using wildcards gives too many false hits. Just trying stay within the rules and common practice here.

If you go through the trouble and really search for it by title, executable name (minux the .exe) and maybe a few keywords about wat it is, I'm sure we (admin/mod) will be very understanding and willing to delete it if its a duplicate with no hard feelings. As long as u give a lil, we will give even more back.
