I dont know if I have lost my mind or am just naturally retarded, but i have a pain in the ass issue. At one of the companies i work for, they have several windows 98 machines. One has a local printer (LPT1) and it is shared across the network. I just added a Windows 2000 and a Windows XP clients to the network. The 2k and XP computer refuse to connect to the printer. It sees the printer, prompts for the driver, then installs it, then goes to test the printer and locks up. I have tried all the PCL and PS drivers to no avail. After it locks up, the printer looks like it installed, but then you click on it and it says its not available, or the computer its connected to is offline. The win 98 dont use any sort of log on.
Thanks in advance for n e help. smile.gif
