I've been looking around but have not found much in the way of a somewhat newer app for a wireless sniffer that would support more cards or have additional functions. All I see is the same old stuff from 2002. Yes in wireless, 2002 is old.

Anyone aware of a current win32 app for 11b and or g?

Any ideas?

Technolgy doesn't change over a years span and nor does software.

Netstumbler will work find however it doesn't log traffic :=?. I had to hunt for my card and setup so i could get everything working under linux & w/ Kismet (nightmare!!).

I'd have to disagree with your point. In just the past year there is now a additional wireless standard to 802.11a and b. 802.11g is the new standard with a more secure standard due late next year currently 802.11i draft

Also the models/chipsets of cards are changing all the time and there is still little to no practical software sniffers for usb wireless cards and they have now been out for several years.
