any one got a solution to enable sending raw sockets after microsoft did disable it completely in one of its latest patches ...

Please dont tell me disable Windows Firewall service as a solution that was the solution before that update now everyone's saying no solution , but i believe it could be fixed somehow manually or through a program , anyone did that plz inform me as its very important ..

there is a socket fix online called "xpsp2tcpipfix.exe" see if you can find it using google

Since when does that allow raw sockets? As far as I read it only increases the max number of connections per minute. If you want raw sockets you should program them via the tdi I guess, even tho that one is changed too. Anyway you can always produce raw sockets by using the network card driver directly (not simple!)

so all whats above is nothing related to what i want , increasing the number of connections iss already solved ago , but resides the raw sockets problem , no one managed to make a workaround poor me and all winxp users , they're getting raped ..

a kernel driver could be writte with a usermode interface to achieve this. not sure if such a driver yet exists...

wouldn't it just be easier as said before to make the interface to the network card driver itself?

and how about those libpcap things etc ain't those a solution?
