I have a company laptop that is assigned to a domain. How would I be able to transfer files from my laptop to my home workgroup PC? I have a WiFi router and 3 PC's connected through a local workgroup. How do I transfer large files from my company laptop (on a domain) to my home PC (workgroup)?

Thx

yeah, hosting an ftp server would probably be the easiest way....just turn it off when it's not in use.

map a share
from home computer
CODE
net use  h: \\company_lap_name\sharename /user:domain\username

Or from work computer
CODE
net use h: \\home_comp_name\sharename /user:home_comp_name\username

Or be lazy and Right click "My Computer" select "Map Network Drive". Enter the share path and click "connect using different username" fill in the info there then hit Ok a couple times

hi!

in this case you may want to use SSH ?
There is a realy good sFTP API interface... as confortable as an graphical FTP client...

I ended up using cerberus ftp from my Home PC to transfer files and I uncheck the "use passive FTP" option in IE.
