There are many ways to browse your computer.
- Install a FTP server
- Switch on Telnet
- Install Remote Administrator or VNC
- etc...
The easiest way and the most useful is to install radmin or vnc. You can transfer files, have a command line, view the screen, take the control of your computer and restart it.
I hope this will help you.

The easyest way if you use Windows XP is to setup the Remote Desktop Connection.
There is also a client for Win98 if I remember right.
I used to do this at work.
With a fast connection, it's almost like being home !
