Yes irc rocks etc I visit from time to time.

One point, xchat is mainly linux, they don't offer windows compiles on their site .

xchat has been ported to windows and you can find these ports on there site.

mind you i ended up uninstall xchat from my winblows because xchat didnt seem to want to load tcl scripts even though i had the newest tcl libs installed. maybe u guys might have better luck
