interesting article, but part 2 is not published yet sad.gif
i am excited for part 2, i wonder which sniffer they used to sniff packets... i never suggested sniffing wireless packets, wireless sniffers don't work on integrated WLAN of centrino at all, i wish they worked...

I have a question regarding this, I have a dump file from kismet, we have two aps here at work, one we set with wpa and one 128 wep.
Does any1 know how do i tell which ap uses wep and which uses wpa by analyzing the packets only and what i should be looking for.

Very interestig informations. The biggest problem is the dictionnary. For My self , i use a combinaison of words (from diferent languages) and numbers (shuffle). Naturally, the majority dont make it (and dont protected the wifi too ! )
