Dunno if this is the right section for the question. I was wondering how secure the Novell ZEN Remote Agent service is. On the new library PC's on my school they are running Novell, and with that, also the ZEN Remote Agent service. I checked with fport to see wich ports are open, and one thing that was different then the other workstations without Novell, is that port 139 was not listening. Instead of that, on port 1761 that Agent service was running.

I don't gonna try at my school, how te get in that Remote Agent. But maybe here has someone experience with it? Are there also tools for like IPC scanners to scan local accounts. Or can only networkusers log in to it?

I'm not going to hack anything thats not mine, just curious about it. I don't understand much of Novell to be onest wink.gif
