Wrong site, wrong forum, wrong question atta. "How do I hack..." questions correctly not entertained here.

Oh, check you havent got file sharing (start>settings>control panel>network) selected.

Well said, the forums at Government Security are meant for educational purposes, focusing much attention to system administrators, but a question on how to hack into someone's computer with a maliscious intent is not necessary at these forums, my suggestion to you is to move on somewhere else in order to find the info you need, and btw the your computer didn't get hacked just because he got your IP, he must have exploited your computer. Good bye, X-Raided.

How about you stop being lazy, go read some stuff, then come back and ask a serious question. I know we're all supposed to be nice here, but come on..."How do I hack?...."

Well by your description it sounds like your friend did a simple NETBIOS hack on you. Your windows password is either blank, very easy to guess (123), or your friend got your password from you with clever social engineering. Thats how he got in.

As to your question on how to hack a person if you have their ip I would do a port scan and then search for exploits that match the open ports. wink.gif
