I noticed thet ! when eva i Kill any personal firewalls like zonealaram , mcshield or sygate i cant access my lan or net ! until i restart the firewalll !!? is thet wat suppose to happen or just with me ?

Well, shutting them down through their own shutdown command will open you up and allow you unlimited access to the network. If by killing you mean sniping the process then I would hope that they would go into deny all mode. Actually it sounds like a very nice safety feature in case of malicious process killing.

If you only shut down the process it may shut off all traffic to the internet as the services still run for many of them ... Make sure the TrueVector service is off for ZoneAlarm McShield for Mcafee and youre just not killing the pid ... you could also delete the vxd for them and restart the computer

thx for the infoo ! but stopping service did the same effect !! no access like iam disconnected or something ! tried this out remotely on other pc ! any ideas

There is option in sygate abt disabling network access when firewall is off . maybe that is on with ur pc . And yes many firewalls do it but sygate do not if u exit properly by right-clicking on system tray icon of sygate .

Im not sure where else to ask this, so I guess it will be here. How can I get around a SonicWall Firewall? I used to use Proxify, but now anything with "proxy" in it is blocked. Finding IP's and using them works, untill he bans the IP. Then, we used Google Cache. Well, now he had blocked that. I'm running out of ideas, can someone help me? Much thanks.
