in registry windows.

if your lookin how to add rules in try looking into the 'netsh firewall' command because it doesn't put it into the registry at all.

the netsh firewall command is very handy with being able to show you the config, add/delete rules and much more.

i didn't find any config/advanced settings concerning the XPSP2 Firewall in the registry but the netsh permits will surely permit me to extract all the settings in a txt file
