Hmm..nothing on Google...maybe it is a heavily skinned mod? Or, maybe it is a cracked version by a guy named b0rg or something?
I'm curious to know what it is though..keep us updated!

Got a few versions of these modded windows XP. Like Windows FD and Windows XP unattended. Come in very useful. For example, XP unattended requires no user interaction (apart from formatting drive). It installs Winrar, Office 2K3, SP1 + major updates plus a load more.
I assume BORG edition is something similar, 1.6GB so mite have sum useful stuff on it. Will let you know once it its finished dloading.
Cheers

I'm sure you've already heard this, but I hope (and assume, since you're a smart person based on your posts) you're practicing "due dilligence" when you download these shady Windows CDs/DVDs from p2p.
Highly unlikely, but these guys could integrate a rootkit, backdoor, etc etc into your "auto-install" pretty easily.
One reason why I use gold media...the other reason is I'm a lazy bastard (to script everything). heh.

Fair comment, there could be a number of security holes pre-setup. Really wouldn't surprise me if there was.
However, i never normally tend to use these operating systems for anything serious and often only use them for a few weeks at a time on my testing machine. I use them more out of interest than anything else, good for getting ideas on putting together your own setup disk of XP. I would never fully use or relie on the modded operating systems, windows has enough problems as it is!
I always stick to the rule - never trust anyone.

Any more info, could you post an app list that it has with it? I remember a tutorial for how to make a recovery disk (winxp + any of your apps) on the forums but I cant find it again. If anyone wants it then its here at least.

Hi All,i'm new here.
When making this "bundled instalation" It would be an idea to use a dvd instead of a standard cd-r so that you can fit more into the total install. Of course if you do this its going to take a lot longer to install, but its automated.
