I've uploaded serv-u.exe and the .ini files to a remote computer but i'm wondering about the trial that comes with serv-u. Does it still only give you 30 days if you run it through the command prompt? Is entering a serial number the only way to get around this?

So get a serial from somewhere Or just buy it, like you should

ok I got passed that part but I can't seem to get it to run on a remote machine. I type in servu at the command prompt but nothing happens...It just skipps a line and repeats what I typed in without actually running the servu. The ini is in the directory and so is the executable so I don't know whats going on. Any advice?

i use these two commands if one doesnt work then try the other

net start "Serv-U FTP Server"

net start serv-u
