Hi. I've googled, I've searched these forums, and i've asked a few of my friends, but they can't help.. I seem to recall a file on these forums somewhere, but I can't find it when I've looked.
I'm looking for a semi-professional PDF maker.. An actual program where I can make decent looking PDF's.. I'm sure you all know what I mean. I know that a lot of good members on this board make tutorials in PDF form, and some of you must use a specific program for it..
Thanks.
[P.S. I'm aware of features in programs such as Photoshop where I can save an image to PDF, but it doesn't have enough options, flexibility, etc to it.. I'm looking for something where I can create tutorials, magazines, newspaper headlines, etc... Thanks.]

Hmm... those programs just seem to take a normal document/file and convert it into pdf.. there is no pdf editing program?
Will I have to use normal document-creating programs [word, etc] then just convert them?

adobe acrobat (not reader) comes with a plugin that converts .doc to .pdf thats what we use mostly... or you can just hit 'print' and select the acrobat distiller

Java and XML, or XSLT and XML.
Then use FOP.
Can make the PDF look however you want it, only depends on your programming skills.
